Celebrity Mercury Mini-Review

My visit was brief, but there were several indicators that this is a well run ship:

• CBP officers exiting the ship complimented the Hotel Director (never seen that before)
• Multiple members of San Francisco port security commented that Mercury had their act together
• This was the cleanest and best-maintained Celebrity ship I've ever seen. Zero dust, trays or litter lying around. Teak and funiture appeared well kept up. The biggest demerit I could find was the lack of individual feminine hygiene disposal bags in the ladies' rooms. That's pretty far down on my list.

Additionally, although it would be inappropriate to go into detail, Security was both thorough and considerate.

My compliments to Hotel Director Sonja Gruber.

The ship itself was beautiful, with tasteful but modern decor that seems to be a Celebrity hallmark.
