Oceania Orders Newbuilds for 2010 and Beyond

June 18, 2007, Miami, FL -- Oceania Cruises has finalized its order for two new 1,260-guest ships from Fincantieri. These vessels, with an option for a third, are the first newbuilds for a line built on three 710-guest ships acquired from Renaissance.


Serena Introduced to Costa Fleet

MIAMI, Dec. 12, 2006 -- Costa will be getting a new 2,260-guest ship in March 2010, according to an announcement today from Carnival Corp that Costa's parent company has ordered the new 92,700-ton vessel.

MIAMI, Sept. 21, 2005 -- Carnival Corp has decided to assign the Fincantieri newbuild slot for the previously announced 116,000-ton cruise ship to U.K.-based P&O Cruises. The vessel, to be named P&O Ventura, is scheduled to enter service in spring 2008.


Carnival Corp Transfers Ship from Cunard to P&O, Orders Enhanced Queen Victoria

MIAMI, April 5, 2004 -- Carnival Corp announced today a significant restructuring of its UK capacity. Cunard Line's Queen Victoria, a ship under construction in Fincantieri's Marghera Yard, will be transferred to P&O Cruises and renamed the Arcadia. The new Arcadia is scheduled to enter service in April 2005.
