New Carnival Splendor to Visit South America En Route to the West Coast

MIAMI, July 2, 2007 -- In January 2009 Carnival will operate its first-ever voyages to South America with 14- to 18-day cruises aboard the new 113,300-ton Carnival Splendor. These sailings, which include Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile and Peru are part of the post-Panamax vessel's journey to long-term service on the West Coast of the U.S.
