All The Stars Were Out At The FCCA Foundation For The Caribbean Gala Dinner

CORAL GABLES, Fla., April 1 -- The Member Lines of the
Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) once again had a tremendous
turnout for the FCCA Foundation for the Caribbean's "All the Stars are Out
Tonight" Gala Dinner and Entertainment Extravaganza, which had over 500
attendees.

The Gala, which benefits the Foundation, a non-profit charitable
organization funding worthy causes throughout the Caribbean, was held on board
Carnival Cruise Lines' newest vessel, the spectacular m.s. Inspiration.

The evening's events kicked off with cocktails followed by dinner and an
entertainment extravaganza, "Carnival's Inspiration Revue;" after, until the
wee hours, guests and cruise line executives danced the night away and enjoyed
the many lounges and entertainment areas offered by this new vessel.

Also a part of the evening's special events were brief remarks by featured
speakers. Michele M. Paige, FCCA's Executive Director and Master of
Ceremonies, introduced two of the Caribbean's leaders, the Hon. Roy L.
Schneider, Governor of the U.S.V.I. and the Hon. John A. Junor, Minister of
Tourism for Jamaica. These gentlemen each gave testimony to the wonderful
works that the Foundation has funded, from hurricane relief to islands that
sustained damage during a very active hurricane season, to the donation of
toys at Christmas to underprivileged children in Grenada. Their addresses
served as reminders of the mandate of the Foundation, which is to continue in
its proactive involvement in the Caribbean and to positively touch the lives
of Caribbean nationals.

Amidst the glamour of the night, one star that shone brilliantly in the FCCA
sky was Ronald Rose. Ronald, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, was also one of
the speakers at the Gala. This Caribbean special athlete and captain of his
country's Special Olympics basketball team (silver medalists at the Special
Olympics World Games, Connecticut, 1995), exited the stage to thunderous
applause and a standing ovation.

Ronald also presented the members of the FCCA executive committee with
Caribbean Special Olympian statues showing appreciation to the FCCA Foundation
for the Caribbean, which is the major sponsor of the Caribbean Special
Olympics. The FCCA executive committee comprises Mr. Micky Arison, Chairman &
CEO, Carnival Corporation; Mr. Richard E. Sasso, President & CEO, Celebrity
Cruises Inc.; Capt. Paris G. Katsoufis, President, Dolphin and Majesty Cruise
Lines; Mr. Mark E. Warren, Sr. Vice President, Princess Cruises; Mr. Adam M.
Aron, President & CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line and Mr. John P. Fox, Vice
President, Corporate Relations, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

"The Gala exceeded our expectations. The Member Lines of the FCCA want to
extend their sincerest thanks to all the supporters of the FCCA Foundation for
the Caribbean. The cruise line executives also shared the spotlight with
Ronald and proved to be some of the true stars of the night as they were
charming and attentive hosts," commented Michele Paige.
