Royal Caribbean Declares Dividend
MIAMI, Feb. 18 -- February 18, 1998 -- The Board of Directors
of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL) (Oslo: RCL) has declared a
quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share for common stock shareholders of
record at the close of business on March 2, 1998, payable on March 30, 1998.
This is the 19th consecutive quarter Royal Caribbean's Board of Directors
has voted to declare a dividend to common stock shareholders.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., is a global cruise company operating two
cruise brands, Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises. The
brands' combined fleet consists of 16 vessels in service with a capacity of
over 29,200 berths. Seven ships are on order, for an additional capacity of
17,100 berths. The ships currently visit Alaska, the Bahamas, Bermuda,
Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, New England, the Panama Canal
and Scandinavia.
