Crystal Cruises Offers Kingdoms of the Sun Grand Cruise Aboard CrystalSymphony in 1999

Unique Indian Ocean Voyage Available at up to Two-for-One Savings

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22 -- This fall, Crystal Cruises is launching
a one-of-a-kind journey from Athens to Sydney aboard the 940-guest, 50,000-ton
Crystal Symphony. Designed to appeal to long-cruise aficionados, the 44-day
itinerary calls in 18 ports in Greece, Israel, Egypt, Djibouti, Oman, India,
the Maldives, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia during November
and December 1999. The Grand Cruise is now available for special promotional
fares at up to half-off published brochure rates.

"For several years, our World Cruises (approximately 100 days) have been
very popular. In fact, about 15 percent of Crystal Cruises' past guests have
sailed for three consecutive weeks or longer," says Adam Leavitt, Crystal
Cruises' vice president, marketing. "This 44-day Grand Cruise was developed
for the many travelers who enjoy Crystal Cruises' onboard luxury, relish
exotic destinations, and can take the time for extended travel."

In addition to new shore excursions in the line's first-ever visits to
Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt; Djibouti; East Africa; and Broome, Australia; Kingdoms
of the Sun features a wealth of land programs, including Crystal Cruises' new
golf series. "Par Excellence" offers all-inclusive arrangements and amenities
at historic golf courses worldwide on select 1999 sailings. Guests may
participate in a three-course tournament during the Singapore to Sydney
portion of the Grand Cruise.

Optional extended land programs are also available throughout the itinerary.
Overnight hotel stays range from one to three nights in luxury properties to
extended five- or six- night pre- or post-cruise land programs throughout
Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Greece from the
embarkation/disembarkation ports of Singapore, Mumbai (Bombay), Sydney, and
Athens.

On all sailings, the Crystal Visions Enrichment series brings aboard
celebrity guest speakers and noted experts for stimulating presentations. The
Kingdoms of the Sun itinerary features destination lecturer Dr. Michael Boll,
professor of history at San Jose State University; Robert Stovall, investment
strategist and frequent panelist on television's Wall $treet Week; and former
Ambassador to Ecuador Samuel Hart, among others. As part of the Crystal Wine
& Food Festival, acclaimed guest chefs Andre Soltner, Norman Van Aken and
Nigel Haworth will be joined by wine experts for demonstrations, tastings, and
gala chef's dinners.

Other onboard enrichment programs include the expanded Computer University @
Sea curriculum as well as expert bridge, dance and fitness instruction.

With special promotional fares, the 44-day Grand Cruise begins at $10,630
per person, double occupancy. Kingdoms of the Sun is also available in
shorter voyages ranging in length from 12 to 28 days, starting at $3,190 per
person, double occupancy. Low single occupancy fares are available at 25%
more.

Crystal Cruises is the recipient of the travel industry's highest guidebook
ratings and distinguished hospitality awards, including the 1998 "World's Best
