Disney Cruise Line Celebrates the Line's First Valentines Day with theFirst Wedding on Disney's Castaway Cay
CASTAWAY CAY, The Bahamas, Feb. 12 -- Valentine's Day marks
the first wedding ever held on Disney's private island paradise, and the start
of a new life for newlyweds Cheryl and Ray Marcom of Phoenix, Arizona. The
couple are the first to exchange vows on Disney's Castaway Cay, an event
celebrated by a champagne toast with more than 2,000 guests on deck and the
Disney Magic sailing into the sunset with the largest "Just Married" banner
hanging from the ship.

The couple, with Cheryl's three children by their side, are the first to
say, "I do" on a private beach surrounded by thousands of flowers and an
intimate group of friends and family. A second wedding for both, Disney's
Fairy Tale Weddings, Disney Cruise line and LIFETIME TELEVISION joined
together to create the intimate wedding the Marcoms had always dreamed of. The
wedding will be featured during "Weddings of a Lifetime," premiering March 22
from 8-9 p.m. ET/PT.
The Valentine's Day celebration marks the introduction of Disney Cruise
Line, offering intimate island weddings on their private 1,000-acre island,
Castaway Cay. Details regarding packages will be released in the coming
months.
