Fire Will Not Delay Delivery Of Royal Caribbean's Voyager Of The Seas

MIAMI, Feb. 22 -- Royal Caribbean International has been
informed by shipbuilders Kvaerner Masa-Yards that there will be no delay in
the scheduled delivery and the subsequent maiden voyage of Voyager of the
Seas, the 142,000 ton vessel that experienced a minor fire at the shipyard on
February 19.

Quickly contained by shipyard firefighters, the fire damaged two provision
areas, two galleys and a small number of guest and crew cabins in the rear
section of the ship. According to the yard, approximately 100 tons of steel
will need to be replaced or reworked to rebuild the affected areas.

Royal Caribbean International is one of two brands owned by Royal Caribbean
Cruises Ltd., which also operates Celebrity Cruises. The Royal Caribbean
