Crystal Cruises Navigates Norwegian Fjords on New and Unique MidnightSun Serenade Itinerary

LOS ANGELES, March 1 -- In July 1999, Crystal Cruises will
offer guests a one-of-a-kind rendezvous with Northern Europe's most
spectacular natural scenery on a 12-day Midnight Sun Serenade cruise. Designed
as an incomparable experience of Norway's breathtaking fjords, the cruise
sails at the height of summer when Scandinavia is bathed in sunlight day and
night. Departing July 17 from London and returning July 29 at Copenhagen, the
cruise includes a maiden call at Kristiansand, a favorite summer resort for
Norwegians. Though Crystal Symphony will spend most of the summer cruising
Scandinavia, this voyage is the only one in 1999 through the Norwegian fjords.

Ports of call include London (Dover), England; Bergen, Norway;
Hellesylt/Geiranger, Norway; Trondheim, Norway; Honningsvag/North Cape,
Norway; Flam/Gudvangen, Norway; Kristiansand, Norway; and Copenhagen, Denmark.

"There is no better way to experience the stunning beauty of these natural
wonders than aboard the six-star rated Crystal Symphony," said Adam Leavitt,
Crystal Cruises' vice president, marketing. "The captain makes impressive
maneuvers to give those aboard the best views."

Snow-crested mountaintops jut thousands of feet above the water, colorful
tiny farms cling precariously to mountainsides, and glacier-fed waterfalls
plunge thousands of feet into rivers below to paint the region's picturesque
scenery.

Departing London, Crystal Symphony will cruise north along Norway's coast
for Bergen, studded with cobblestones, picturesque wooden Hansa houses and
stave churches. The next port of call is at the charming towns of Geiranger
and Hellesylt, perched at the edges of two of Norway's most beautiful fjords,
where glassy blue waters run between sheer, snowy mountainsides. Following is
Trondheim, home to Nidaros Cathedral where kings of Norway are still crowned;
Honningsvag, Europe's northernmost community; and North Cape, the northernmost
point in Europe, for majestic views of the Barents Sea and polar north.
Crystal Symphony will then journey south to tiny Flam, where guests can take a
train ride through the Romsdal Alps, and continue toward the longest fjord in
Norway, the 126-mile Sognefjord. After a maiden call at Kristiansand, the
cruise concludes in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Midnight Sun Serenade starts at $5,630 per person, double occupancy.
