The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc. Appoints New Marketing Executive

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 11 -- The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc.,
parent company and corporate headquarters of the Johnny Rockets restaurant
chain, has appointed Kimberly A. Myers as Executive Director of Marketing.
Myers began her employment with Johnny Rockets on Monday, January 4, 2000.

Myers arrives to Johnny Rockets with impressive credentials and over seven
years of marketing and brand development experience in the restaurant
industry. Formerly the Western Region Customer Marketing Manager of
Pepsi-Cola Company (Aliso Viejo, Calif.), Myers was a key player in
identifying and developing the region's annual marketing plan and renewed
presence within the market. Myers was also responsible for interpreting
industry insight and analysis to better understand and identify restaurant
segment and specific growth opportunities.

Prior to Pepsi-Cola Company, Myers was the Director of Marketing for East
Side Mario's, a division of Marie Callender's Pie Shops (Orange, Calif.) where
she was responsible for development and implementation of annual, corporate
and unit level marketing strategies and promotional plans for the 32-unit
chain. During her career, Myers' experience encompasses expertise in
strategic planning, brand development and project management.

regarding marketing responsibilities of the 136-unit chain of Johnny Rockets
restaurants.

Having opened an average of one store every 12 days during 1999, Johnny
Rockets is continuing its aggressive growth pattern with both company and
franchise stores. The company plans to open an additional 13 company-operated
and 13 franchised-stores over the next year.
