Royal Caribbean International Raises The Standard In All-InclusiveCruise Vacations On Its Voyager-Class Ships
MIAMI, June 6 -- Royal Caribbean International announced today
that several onboard activities and services found only on the innovative
Voyager-class series of ships will now be provided free of charge to all
guests. This includes activities such as ice-skating, rock-climbing, inline
skating, miniature golf, and all food items at the Johnny Rockets restaurant
on "Voyager of the Seas." This will extend to "Explorer of the Seas," which
is scheduled to sail on her maiden Eastern Caribbean voyage on October 28,
2000.
"From the start, we were excited about introducing a variety of activities
on 'Voyager of the Seas' that are above and beyond traditional cruise vacation
offerings," said Dan Hanrahan, senior vice president, Marketing and Sales,
Royal Caribbean International. "While the demand for these activities has
been strong, we've found that we don't need to maintain charges in order to
provide sufficient access to the activities and deliver a superior guest
experience."
From the outset, "Voyager of the Seas" has provided more choices in free
food, entertainment, and activities than have ever been available on a cruise
ship. Ice Skating Shows, High Notes Jazz Club, Royal Promenade parades, Cafe
Promenade, Island Grill and Sprinkles are just a few examples. "Explorer of
the Seas" will provide another opportunity to experience a cruise vacation
that only the Voyager-class ships can provide.
Royal Caribbean International is a global cruise brand with 12 ships in
service, and eight under construction or on firm order. For additional
