New Holland America Video Displays Spectacular Alaskan Adventure
SEATTLE, Jan. 23, 2002 -- Calving glaciers, charging grizzlies and majestic peaks are just some of the highlights in Holland America Line-Westours' stunning new video, the Great Alaska Tours. The spectacular video reminds seasoned Alaska travelers of the grandeur of the state, and whets the appetite for others to experience the wildlife, scenery and Alaska culture first hand.

The narrator takes the viewer on a 14-day "Dream Tour" beginning in Anchorage and traveling to Denali National Park, Fairbanks, the Yukon River and Dawson City, Whitehorse and Skagway, where tour guests board their luxurious Holland America ship for a cruise to Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and the Inside Passage to Vancouver, B.C. Along the way, the video features all-new footage of Holland America destinations, shore excursions and ships in Alaska.
The video highlights the many options the viewer has in various destinations. In Denali National Park the video features clips from a wild river rafting trip, a peaceful horseback ride, a dog mushing demonstration, hiking, flightseeing and the hilarious Cabin Night Dinner Theater. In Dawson City it's Diamond Tooth Gerties and a walking tour of the old mining town. There also are images of huge glaciers, colorful wildflowers, and trips on Holland America's Yukon Queen II and the McKinley Explorer, both featuring Holland America's renowned service.
The "Dream Tour" featured in the video is only one of the 31 available Alaska tours and cruisetours.
