Captain Nico Corbijn Joins Ambassadors as SVP of Marine Operations
SEATTLE, April 5, 2007 -- Captain Nico Corbijn has joined Ambassadors International, parent company ofWindstar and Majestic America Line, as the new SVP of Marine Operations.

In this role Corbijn will direct all nautical and technical operations as well as oversee responsibility for the mechanical, refurbishment, safety, environment and security functions for the Windstar Cruises and Majestic America Line fleets.
A veteran of the cruise industry, Corbijn's career includes more than 20 years of business development and operational management experience. Having previously served as captain of several ships for Holland America Line and Windstar Cruises, Corbijn most recently led the commercial shipping program as a project manager at BMT Designers & Planners, where he worked to diversify, manage and support companies and organizations including Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean, Holland America Line, Costa Cruises, NOAA, OMI Corporation and CBT.
Corbijn holds a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the Maritime Institute of the Netherlands, and is a Master Mariner with an unlimited tonnage license. He lives with his family in Sammamish, Wash.
