Diane Moore Appointed SVP, Marketing & Sales for Windstar and Majestic America Line
SEATTLE, April 3, 2007 -- Following its recent acquisition of Windstar Cruises, Ambassadors has appointed Diane Moore SVP, Marketing and Sales for Windstar Cruises and Majestic America Line.
Moore will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all marketing and sales initiatives for Windstar Cruises' fleet of three luxury sailing vessels and Majestic America Line's fleet of seven river and coastal cruise ships.
Moore will report to David Giersdorf, President, Ambassadors Cruise Group. The appointment is effective April 2007.

Moore brings more than thirty years of experience to her role. Most recently she served as Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Windstar Cruises, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Holland America Line. Prior to Windstar, she was Executive Vice President, Supplier Sales, for Virtuoso, responsible for developing marketing plans with suppliers and working closely with Virtuoso member agents. Moore has also served as Vice President, Passenger Programs for Holland America Line, and Senior Vice President, Passenger Services for both Crystal Cruises and Royal Cruise Line.
Moore has a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University.
