NCL Norwegian Spirit to Sail form New Orleans through 2014
NEW ORLEANS - March 15, 2009 - NCL has confirmed plans to continue seasonal sailings out of New Orleans at least through April 2014.
Under a recently signed contract with the Port of New Orleans, the 1,966-passenger Norwegian Spirit cruise ship will be based in New Orleans for 21 weeks each year and will sail weekly from November to April.
The Norwegian Spirit sails 7-day Exotic Western Caribbean itineraries with Sunday departures, as follows:

Norwegian Spirit was built in 1998 as SuperStar Leo, and joined the NCL fleet in 2004.
The agreement will last at least three years, and includes a 3-year option.
